Marjorie Ruth Robertson Hauser, 69, of Holland, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Marjorie was born on November 11, 1948 to Clifford T. Robertson and Maude Spurlock Robertson. 

She married Carl E. Hauser on June 16, 1973 at the Ava General Baptist Church in Ava, MO. Marjorie was a graduate of Ava High School and Southwest Missouri State University. She taught music to kindergarten through 12th grade students in various southwest Missouri schools. She shared her genuine love for music to everyone she knew. She sang at many special friends and family weddings and funerals, including the weddings of her sister, children, her niece and nephew. 

She and her husband relocated to Jefferson City, MO where she worked at the Missouri Bankers Association. Upon retirement, they moved to Holland, IN where she enjoyed working along side her husband on their “farm-ette”, entertaining family and friends, and especially taking an active role in the lives of her four grandchildren. She wore the title “Marmie” with an immense amount of pride. In addition, her extended family was extremely important to her.

Surviving are her husband, Carl E. Hauser of Holland, IN; one son, John C. Hauser and his wife Michelle of Minneapolis, MN; one daughter, Carolyn Ruth Wallace and her husband Sean of Evansville, IN; four grandchildren Madelyn, Lydia, Luke, and Stella of Evansville, IN; one sister, Janice Robertson Campbell of Ava, MO. Preceding her in death are her parents and one sister, Patricia Helen Robertson.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at the Big Spring Cemetery, Big Spring, Missouri.
