Marilyn Ann Gillette, 83, of Hermann, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.
 
Marilyn was born in Gary, Indiana on November 2, 1934, a daughter of the late Henry & Bertha (Ehrhardt) Jungermann.
 
Marilyn was the widow of Richard Gillette.  They were united in marriage on February 2, 1984, in Denver, Colorado.  Richard preceded her in death on March 29, 2014.
 
While Marilyn and Richard lived in Denver she worked various jobs.  She worked at a nursing home, for Merrill Engineering in electronics, and worked with Richard in their construction company.  After retirement in 1996, they moved to Gasconade to live near Richard's brother.
 
Marilyn was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Hermann.  In her free time, she enjoyed craft projects, was talented with art, enjoyed traveling, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Marilyn is survived by a son, Robert Kolarik & wife Phyllis of New Florence, Missouri; by three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and by two brothers and one sister.
 
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. David Rawlings officiating.
 
Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann. Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
