Marie A. Henke, 95, of Morrison, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Marie was born in Fredricksburg, Missouri on March 3, 1922, a daughter of the late Ted & Katy (Bohl) and Gnadt.

She was the widow of Ralph J. Henke.  They were married on June 14, 1947, in Cottleville, Missouri.  Ralph preceded her in death on November 12, 1990.

Marie was a member of Assumption Church, Morrison, Missouri.  She worked at Rexall Drug Company in St. Louis.  She also worked at Florsheim Shoe Company in Hermann, where she retired in July 18, 1984.

Marie is survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, a brother-in-law Oliver Henke & wife June and a sister-in-law Marge Henke.

Marie was very fond of her pets, especially Queenie and Lucille.  She enjoyed going to Branson and seeing the shows and she loved making puzzles, doing cross word puzzles, and reading.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, Morrison, Missouri, with Father David Means officiating.   Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery.
