Marie Delores Frye, 90, of Washington, MO, formerly of Montgomery City, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Cedar Crest Manor, Washington, Missouri. 

Marie was born in St. Charles, Missouri on November 20, 1928, a daughter of the late Harvey & Hazel (Turner) Boone.

She was united in marriage to Howard V. Frye on May 1, 1982, at First Baptist Church, Montgomery City, Missouri. Howard preceded her in death on June 30, 2014.

Marie was a member of Methodist Presbyterian Church, Montgomery City, Missouri, and was a volunteer at the Montgomery City Senior Center.  She worked at a shoe factory in Jonesburg for over 20 years. She was also a seamstress and made all the clothes for her children growing up.  

Marie is survived by a daughter, Barbara McGee, of Warrenton, Missouri; a daughter, Ruth Elaine Wells & husband John, of Jonesburg, Missouri; a son, Richard Dunlap & wife Janice, of Jonesburg, Missouri; a daughter, Diana Dunlap, of Davenport, Iowa; a daughter, Carol Swope & husband Robert, of Union, Missouri; a daughter, Joyce White, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a son, James Dunlap & wife Marsha, of New Florence, Missouri; a son-in-law, Otis Conley, of Lynchburg, Tennessee; three step-daughters, Sharon Wilson, of Perry, Georgia; Sandra Harrelson, of New Hartford, Missouri; and Jana Bledsoe & husband Jay, of Hartsburg, Missouri; three brothers, Floyd Boone & wife Harriette, of Lubbock, Texas; Roy Boone & wife Patty, of Montgomery City, Missouri; and Ralph Boone, of Rhode Island; two sisters-in-law, Doris Boone, of O'Fallon, Missouri; and Joan Boone, of Montgomery City, Missouri; by 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by a daughter, Sandra Conley, by a sister, Ruby Lauer, and by two brothers, Raymond & Arlie Boone.

In her free time Marie enjoyed listening to blue grass music, quilting, gardening, canning, & making jelly.  She loved the outdoors and going camping, fishing, and mushroom hunting.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 6th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Methodist Presbyterian Church, Montgomery City, Missouri, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating.
 
Burial will be at Montgomery City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to church.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
