Magdalen M. LaBoube, 88, of Berger, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her daughters home, in O'Fallon, Missouri.
Magdalen was born in Berger, Missouri on November 10, 1930, daughter of the late Paul & Susan (Meyer) Speckhals.
She was the widow of Marvin "Boob" LaBoube. They were united in marriage on June 30, 1951, in Berger, Missouri.
Magdalen was a member of St. Paul's Church, Berger, where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She was very devoted to her faith and her Blessed Mother Mary.
She worked at Langenburg Hat Factory for several years, while also being a homemaker. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them. She also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Magdalen is survived by two sons, Gary LaBoube & wife Carolyn, of Hermann, and Dean LaBoube, also of Hermann, by three daughters, Cynthia LaBoube, of Wentzville, Missouri, Donna Albers & husband Steve, of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Nancy Shouse & husband David of Holts Summit, Missouri, by seven grandchildren, Daniel LaBoube & wife Whitney, Melinda Schmelz & husband Jason, Salina Derby & husband Mark, Nathan Albers & wife Paula, Katie Martin & husband Branden, and Kinsey & Alyssa Shouse, and by 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by two grandsons, Michael & Christopher LaBoube and two brothers, Paul & Edward Speckhals.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 1st from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Berger, with Father John Deken officiating.
Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Cemetery or Masses. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
