Lowell Brandt

Lowell Brandt, 92, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri. 

Lowell was born in Hermann, Missouri on March 28, 1927, a son of the late Oswald & Lillian (Priess) Brandt.

He was the husband of Helen (Walkenhorst) Brandt.   They were united in marriage on October 23, 1954, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, MO. 

Lowell was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Stolpe, Missouri, where he previously served on the church council and church cemetery board.  He was also a past board member for Farm Bureau. Lowell was a farmer his whole life.

Lowell is survived by his wife Helen, of the home; by two daughters, Donna Brandt & husband Jeffrey Stevens, of Columbia, Missouri; and Denise Brandt-Parkersburg, of West Virginia; a brother, Otto Brandt & wife Ida, of Hermann, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Micah & Jacob Stevens, both of Columbia, MO.  

Visitation will be held Friday, August 9th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stolpe.  Memorials may be given to the cemetery.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
