Linda JoAnn James, 65, of Hermann, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her home.
Linda was born in Mexico, Missouri on February 19, 1953, a daughter of the late Melvin M. & Lorene Geneva (Daller) Wright.
She was the widow of Danny Dean "Rooster" James. They were united in marriage on July 18, 1975, in Licking, Missouri. Danny preceded her in death on November 1, 2014.
Linda worked for Henniges Automotive until she retired. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, camping, and making craft and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Joni James & boyfriend Tim Moorman, of Swiss, Missouri; and Kelly Wells & husband David, of Big Spring, Missouri; a son, Bradley James & wife Nicki, of Bellflower, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Deveena, Kaleb, and Kenny, by six great grandchildren, Deryek, Forrest, Jullian, Neila, Anya, and Aliya, by four brothers, LeRoy Wright, of Montgomery City, Missouri; Dennis Wright & wife Carol, of Owensville, Missouri; Robert "Bob" Wright & wife Donnia, of Hermann, Missouri; and David Wright & wife Tammy, of Eldon, Missouri, by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by two brothers, Donald & Gerald "Jerry" Wright, by three nephews, Darren, Rodney, and Tim Wright, a niece Debbie Wright and by one great nephew Tre Wright.
Private graveside services will be held at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
