Keith Daniel Branson

Keith Daniel Branson, age 46 of Pershing, passed away July 27, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish hospital in St Louis, Missouri.

Keith was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 24, 1971. He was the son of Daniel and MaryAnn Branson.

Keith attended grade school and part of high school at Rock Bridge elementary and High School in Columbia, Missouri. In 1989 the family moved to the Pershing area and Keith started attending Hermann High School. During his years at Hermann High School in 1991 Keith had a bad vehicle accident near Hermann and spend many months in the University Hospital in Columbia Missouri, but was able to make it to his graduation for the day and walk across the stage to receive his diploma to the cheers of his classmates and many friends and family.

Keith was most recently employed by the Pretium Packaging company in Hermann Missouri while on summer break from the job he liked most which was as a welder for the Industrial Airflow Dynamics company out of New Jersey where he traveled the eastern coast with a crew working on air conditioner towers at large industrial firms. He was also employed for several years with the company that in now Henniges Automotive as an extrusion Tech.

Keith is remembered fondly and is often characterized by his friends as a kind and caring individual with a heart of gold. He loved being with his two girls Brooke and Kyla and spending time with his friends. He and his brother Dustin and sister Candy had a gathering at his parents home once a year with a large group of their friends which quickly became known as the “Branson Annual” and is remembered fondly by all who came. He seemed to always be happy and was the life of the party at these gatherings.

He loved to take his girls fishing with him and spending time with them as they grew up. He also loved to go for rides on his four wheeler with his dog “Walley” perched on the gas tank enjoying the ride as they traveled locally to fish and swim in the Gasconade river which ran next to his home in rural Pershing. His brother Dustin had a SeaDoo jet boat which Keith used to love to ride with family and friends up and down the river.

Keith is survived by his parents Daniel and Mary Ann Branson of Pershing, his children Brooke Boone and her husband Brandon of Hermann, Kyla Branson of Hermann, one brother Dustin Branson and his fiancé Danielle Reynolds of Pershing, one sister Candace Branson and boyfriend Dan Abela of Linn Missouri, grandchildren Aubriee and Sophia which are Brooke’s daughters. He is also survived by nephews Blake and Aiden the sons of his brother Dustin, and niece Macy the daughter of his sister Candace, a special friend Dana Poe of Gascony Village and many others including uncles and aunts, cousins, other  relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Victor and Lois Branson of Linn, and Milton and Ruth Leimkuehler of Pershing

Visitation will be Sunday July 29th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, were funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Barb Zastrow officiating.

 Burial will be at the Deppe Family Cemetery by Keith’s home in the Pershing area. Memorials may be given to the family C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
