Katherine G. Gleeson, 92, of Big Spring, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Katherine was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Chester & Katherine (Hotop) Paul.

She was the widow of John Morris Gleeson.  They were united in marriage on November 17, 1945, at St. Joseph's Church, Rhineland, MO.  John preceded her in death on September 8, 2011.

Katherine was a member of Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, Missouri and she was a homemaker. 

Katherine is survived by a daughter Barbara Schaefer & husband Dick of Columbia, son Kenneth Gleeson & wife Donna of Rhineland, son Mark Gleeson & wife Karen of Big Spring, daughter Bernadette Landrum of Oak Dale, California, son Matthew Gleeson & wife Teressa of Holts Summit, son Luke Gleeson & wife Diane of Rhineland, son Joseph Gleeson & wife Christine of Hermann, and daughter Rebecca Gleeson & companion Margaret Robitaille of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter-in-law Nancy Gleeson of Hermann,  by 31 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, by a daughter Kathy Scheidegger,  by a son John Paul (J.P.) Gleeson, a brother Chester Paul and a great grandson Alan Knoepflein.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, with Rev. Monsignor Gregory Higley & Rev. Father Otis Young officiating.
