Dorothy C. Meyer

Dorothy C. Meyer, 88, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at New Haven Care Center.

Dorothy was born in New Haven, Missouri on April 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Andreas J. & Clara H. (Frankenberg) Meyer.

Dorothy was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven.  She worked for Langenberg Hat Company for many years.  In her free time she loved gardening and planting flowers.  She also loved helping out with the small children in the family or just helping out where ever she could.

Dorothy is survived by a sister, Catherine Schlatt, of Shelbina, Missouri; a brother, Anthony Meyer, of New Haven, Missouri; a brother, Leo Meyer, of New Haven; a brother, Bernard Meyer & wife Linda, of New Haven; a sister, Barbara Noelke & husband Gene, of Washington, Missouri; a sister, Ruth Spaunhorst & husband Jerome, of Washington, Missouri, a brother, John Meyer & wife Brenda, of Washington, Missouri, and by many nieces & nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, by an infant sister, Marie Alvina Meyer, a nephew, Daniel Meyer, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Meyer, and a brother-in-law, Leo Schlatt.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 25th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri. 

A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Masses or New Haven Senior Center.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
