Dorothy E. (Bracht) Eikermann

Dorothy E. Eikermann, 96, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge, Missouri. 

Dorothy was born in Fredericksburg, Missouri on December 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Oscar T. & Christina (Stortz) Bracht.

She was the widow of Gustav "Gus"  Eikermann.   They were united in marriage on June 4, 1944.  She and Gus were married for 71 years.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Gary Eikermann & wife Pam, of Holts Summit, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Lisa Eikermann, Scott Eikermann & wife Kristin, Michael Eikermann & wife Angela, Andrew Eikermann & wife Cory, Amy Blankenship & husband Chris, and Sarah Eikermann-Dotson, and by six great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Stanley Eikermann, her brothers, Raymond, William, and Charles Bracht, and a sister Mildred Verdine.

Dorothy enjoyed gardening and she was a very good cook.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Beth Duckworth officiating.

Burial will be at Hermann Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Fredericksburg Cemetery.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
