Doris F. Schneider, 80, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge,.

Doris was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 5, 1936, a daughter of the late Norris Sr. & Grace (Bishop) Fridley.

Doris attended Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri and earned her Masters Degree.  She taught for one year in a one room school house.  She later started in the real estate business with her father Norris in the early 1960's as a secretary but quickly went into sales. She then later had her own real estate company in Hermann.  Her passion was real estate and she went to the office every day until she was physically unable to.

Doris was the widow of Harvey R. Schneider.   They were married on January 22, 1965, in Gerald, Missouri. 

Doris was a member of Zion-St. Paul United Church of Christ, Bay, Missouri, Franklin County Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Doris is survived by her son, Kenneth Schneider, of Hermann, Missouri.   She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
 
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Cemetery, Bay, Missouri, with Rev. Darrel Deeker officiating. 

Memorials may be given to Zion- St. Paul U.C.C. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
