Clarence M. "Rob" Robnett, Jr., 74, of Hermann, MO, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 with family at his side.
Clarence was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 10, 1944, a son of the late Clarence M. Sr. & Fern J. (Goodwin) Robnett.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia “Pat” M. (Cox) Robnett; four children, Twila (Larry) Frey, of O'Fallon, Missouri; Scott Robnett Sr., of Hermann, Missouri; Keith (LiPing) Robnett of Tigard, Oregon; and Cassandra (Joe) Vollenberg, of Newburg, Maryland; by three sisters, Georgia Wiles, of Doe Run, Missouri; Delores Koch, of St. Louis, Missouri; and Laura Holder, of St. Louis, Missouri; by a brother-in-law, Bruce Cox and wife Bobbie, Hermann; by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Clarence was very involved in the church. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hermann, and formerly a deacon with Geyer Road Baptist Church in Kirkwood. He was a boy scout leader and held Brotherhood membership in the "Order of the Arrow”.
He was the owner & operator of CMR Parcel Service, Inc., Kar-Way Furniture Service, Tycott Floral Delivery Service, and 5R Leasing. In his early years, he was also a deputy sheriff in Jefferson County, MO.
He was a very patriotic man and loved eagles. In his free time Clarence enjoyed going for walks, fishing and enjoyed computer programming, but mostly loved spending with time his family.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 27th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Hermann Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hermann Fire Dept. or Alzheimer's Association. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
