Austin Lee Schmidt

Austin Lee Schmidt, 12, of Big Spring, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home.

Austin was born in Creve Coeur, Missouri on June 19, 2007, a son of Aaron Lee & Danielle (Flotte) Schmidt.

Austin was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church.  He was a student at Hermann Middle School.  Austin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing football, basketball, and baseball.

Austin is survived by his parents, Aaron & Danielle Schmidt, of the home, his sister, Kadyn Schmidt, of the home; by his grandparents, Kenneth & Barbara Schmidt, of New Florence; Donald Flotte & fiance Charlene Oesch, of Ballwin, Missouri; and Donna Flotte, of San Antonio, Texas; by his uncles & aunts, Ryan & Janelle Schmidt, of Olathe, Kansas; Andrew & Jana Schmidt, of Columbia, Missouri; and Tracy Flotte, of San Antonio, Texas; by cousins, Brenner Gueths, Ava, Isla, and Riley Schmidt, and Jack & Kayla Carter, and by many great uncles & aunts, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 9th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Big Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hermann Athletic Boosters or Big Spring Cemetery.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
