Angela M. (Springman) Springer

Angela M. Springer, 91, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hermann Area District Hospital.

Angela was born in Alton, Illinois on June 22, 1927, a daughter of the late John & Marie (Wood)   Springman.

She was the wife of Donald Springer, Sr.  They were married at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Alton, Illinois.  Donald survives in Hermann.

Angela is also survived by a daughter, Janet Neustadt & husband Melvin, of West Alton, Missouri; a son, Don Springer, Jr. & wife Jan, of Godfrey, Illinois; a daughter, Mary Jane Leonard & husband Mark, of St. Charles, Missouri; a daughter Jeanne Theissen & husband Chris, of Hermann, Missouri; a daughter, Mary Joan Poole & husband William, of O'Fallon, Missouri; a son, John Springer & partner Craig Hoffmann, of Wentzville, Missouri, by 15 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Angela and Don spent the first part of their married life in the Alton and Godfrey, Illinois area before moving to Hermann in 1990. Angela was a homemaker and loved spending time with her husband, especially as they took drives throughout the area.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.   She was a member of St. George Church, Hermann.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 17th at 9:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with a visitation following the mass.
