Albert Celestine Ballman, Jr., 69, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at his home.

Albert was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 28, 1949, a son of the late Albert Celestine Sr. & Martha (Henson) Ballman.

He was the husband of Debra "Debbie" (Dodson) Ballman.  They were united in marriage on December 17, 1982, in St. Louis, Missouri.  Debbie survives at their home.

Albert is also survived by his children, son, Christopher Ballman & wife Leslie, of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Lutz & husband Andrew, of Union, Missouri; son, Jason Ballman & wife Kasey, of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Michele Lindstrom, of Escondido, California; son, John Ballman, of Beaumont, Texas, by seven grandchildren, Taylor, Reyana, Kiyara, Brandon, Samantha, Matthew & Jacob, one great grandchild Arabella, by a sister-in-law, Pam Judy & husband Roy, of Huntingtown, Maryland, and a brother-in-law James Dodson & wife Mary, of Huntingtown, Maryland.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Ballman, a sister-in-law, Debbie Dodson, and father & mother-in-law, James & Virginia Dodson.

Albert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a customer service associate for Lowes and West Lake Hardware in Washington.  

Albert was affiliated with St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, and Zion United Church of Christ, Union.  He was a member of the New Haven American Legion.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven,with Rev. David Poe officiating. 

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Franklin County Humane Society.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
