June Nora (Moeckli) Faerber

June Nora Faerber, 93, of Hermann, MO, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at StoneBridge Senior Living,  Hermann, Missouri 

June was born in Stony Hill, Missouri on September 29, 1930, the daughter of the late William & Mabel (Maupin) Moeckli.
  
She was the widow of Robert G. Faerber.  They were united in marriage on October 21, 1950 at St. George Church, Hermann.   To this union three children were born, Susan, Nancy and John.  Together they shared  57 years of marriage until Robert preceded her in death on November 27, 2007.

June was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, Hermann Fire Department Auxiliary, and Frauenverein Extension Club.  She also was a Girl Scout Leader for several years.

June was a homemaker but she also worked part time as a cook for Gasconade County R-1 School and also worked for International Shoe Company.   She was an excellent baker & pie maker and enjoyed cooking.  She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, going to her grandchildren's sporting events, camping and entertaining family & friends.  

June is survived by two daughters, Susan Faerber, of Jefferson City, Missouri; Nancy Faerber & special friend Lance Carlson, of Jefferson City, Missouri;  a son, John Faerber & special friend Sherry Ruediger, of Hermann, Missouri; two grandsons, Jacob Faerber & wife Kellie, of Ashland, Missouri; and Jordan Faerber & wife Meaghan, of Washington, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Riley, Henry "Hank", Joe, Jack and Leo, and many nieces & nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Ruth Bickmeyer and Shirley Moeckli and a brother, Lloyd Moeckli.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, Missouri, with Rev. Andy Wilson officiating. 

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann. Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital or St. George School.
