William (Bill) F. Liliensiek died in Hilo, Hawaii while on vacation on October 17, 2017 due to natural causes. He was 79.

Mr. Liliensiek was born on November 28, 1937 in St Louis, MO to his parents, Henry and Eleanora Liliensiek. He graduated from St Louis University with a degree in law in 1962. 

He married Judy Schaefer in 1966. The Liliensiek’s moved to Jefferson City, Missouri where William worked as an attorney.  The family relocated to Grosse Pointe Michigan in 1975.  He retired in 2006 and relocated to Madison, Wisconsin in 2011.   He dedicated his remaining time to traveling, caring for his grandchildren, as well as volunteering at his local church and grandson’s school.

Mr. Liliensiek is survived by his wife Judy Liliensiek, his son and daughter-in-law, Tom Liliensiek and Kim Pipp of Chicago, IL; his daughter, Sara Liliensiek, his son-in-law Chad Leppien; and three grandchildren, Natalie Liliensiek, Aidan Leppien, and Ashton Leppien. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Eleanora Liliensiek.

The life of Mr. Liliensiek will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on October 29, 2017 with pastor Roger Kiepe officiating.  A visitation will take place on October 29 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Herman, Missouri.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Liliensiek’s life.
