Virginia  L. "Ginny" Bossman, 86, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Ginny was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on November 16, 1930, a daughter of the late George A. & Bertha M. (Weber) Fischer.

She was the wife of Melvin A. Bossman.  They were married on January 9, 1954, in Hermann, Missouri.  Melvin survives in Hermann.

Ginny is also survived by a son, Dennis Bossman, of Littleton, Colorado; daughters, Suzann Frye & husband Randall, of Hermann, Missouri; daughter Kathleen Masur, of Hermann, Missouri; son Steven Bossman, of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter Marsha Bossman, of Hermann, Missouri;  by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren,  one great-great grandchild,  and by three sisters-in-law, Mildred Thornton, of Union, Missouri; Arline Stotko & husband Cornelius, of Bossier, Louisiana; and Charleen Bossman, of St. Charles, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Tony Masur, by one brother, and four sisters.

Ginny was a member of St. George Church, Hermann, the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Hermann Eagles Auxiliary.  In her free time she enjoyed embroidering quilts squares that were used to make many baby quilts over the years.  

Ginny ran a daycare out of her home for over 20 years.  She then went to work for Little Bearcats Daycare for approximately four years.  Her last place of employment she worked for Hermann Hospital, where she worked in the housekeeping department.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, were memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Deacon Gerald Korman officiating.
