Shirley Louise Hoelmer, 71, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at Gerald Nursing & Rehab Facility, Gerald, Missouri.

Shirley was born in West Ridge, Arkansas on February 19, 1945, a daughter of the late Arthur M. Tedder & wife Emma L. nee Stovall.

She was the widow of Eugene J. Hoelmer. They were married on August 1, 1964 at Drake, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1997.

Shirley was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, New Haven. She worked as an inspector and machine operator at both Hawthorne Mfg. and Kellwood Corp both of New Haven.

She is survived by a sister Mary Huether and husband Donald, of Gerald, by a brother Monroe Tedder and wife Peggy, of O'Fallon, and by 3 nieces and 6 nephews great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by two sisters Vera Marie Adams & Emma Lorene Tedder. and two brothers Shelby and Billy Tedder.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Nogalski officiating.

Burial will be at the New Haven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Memorial Baptist Church or the New Haven Cemetery c/o Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
