Rudolph "Rudy" Trevino, 87, of Hermann, MO, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home.
Rudy was born in Case, Missouri on October 11, 1929, a son of the late Pedro & Nettie (Mure) Trevino.
He was united in marriage to Retha Fern Camp on November 26, 1952 in Montgomery, City, Missouri. His beloved Retha preceded him in death on May 9, 1996.
Rudy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked in commercial construction industry. He has worked for Lockjoint, Interpace, St. Louis Concrete Pipe Company, Hydro Conduit Corp. and Beco, all in St. Louis. He was a member of the Laborers Local 110, of St. Louis.
Rudy enjoyed hunting, buying and scratching lottery tickets but he enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything.
Rudy is survived by his children, Ronald "Vino" Trevino, of Hermann; Lanny Jones & husband Charles, of Orange Park, Florida; Maria Cole, of St. Peters, Missouri; Dwayne Trevino, of Hermann; Steven Trevino, of Hermann; Von Trevino & wife Sharon, of Hermann; Kim Trevino, of Hermann; Loretha "Mogy" Prophete & husband Leonce, of Hermann; Thomaz Trevino, of Washington, Missouri; and Kenneth Briscoe, of Hermann; by a brother LeRoy Mure & wife Edith, of Hermann, by 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, by his step-dad Herman Ritter, by his wife, a son Gary Trevino, a son-in-law Morris Cole and by a sister Margaret Sharp.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., with Billy Brison officiating.
