Robert  "Bob"  Buesking, Jr., 69, of Hermann, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Hermann Area District Hospital.

Mr. Buesking was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 4, 1946, the son of the late Robert M., Sr. and Vivian M. (DeSpain) Buesking.

He was the husband of Donna (Brown) Buesking.  They were married November 29, 1964 at St. Louis, Missouri and just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November.  Donna survives at the home.

Robert is also survived by his seven children, Robert Buesking III of Hermann, Oscar Buesking & wife Sheila of Washington, Elizabeth Johnson & husband Leif of Hermann, Amy Grannemann & husband Brian of Hermann, Sarah Hoelmer & husband Mitch of Hermann, Frosty Buesking & wife Jenny of Hermann and Mark Buesking of Washington, by one brother Andy Buesking of Marquand, Missouri, a sister Dot Combs of Imperial, Missouri, 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Mickey and Fred Buesking and a sister Laurie Simmons.

Robert was a journeyman iron worker and a member of the Local 396 Iron Workers.  He worked on the Arch and Busch Stadium in St. Louis. He then moved to Hermann and worked at the nuclear power plant in Callaway.

Robert loved to go fishing and to hunt, especially deer hunting. Often times he liked gathering around a bonfire and spending time with his family.  He enjoyed working with roses and putting up Christmas decorations during the holidays.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11th, with Rev. David Rawlings officiating. 

Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery,  McKittrick, Missouri. 

Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital or Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.  C/O Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
