Robert "Bob" Bonnarens

Robert  "Bob"  Bonnarens, 78, of New Haven, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at New Haven Care Center.

Mr. Bonnarens was born in Clover Bottom, Missouri on May 13, 1937, the son of the late Ben and Catherine (Koy) Bonnarens.

He was the husband of Selma (Scheible) Bonnarens.  They were married June 14, 1958 at St. Ann's Church, Clover Bottom, Missouri.  Selma survives in New Haven.

Robert is also survived by a son Randy Bonnarens & wife Mary of New Haven, by one daughter Kathy Vandegriffe & husband Kevin of New Haven; sister Jane Mellor of Ozark, Alabama and a brother John Bonnarens & wife Dorothy of Krakow, by five grandchildren, Shane, Colter, Ava, Ella and Iris and by many nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Timothy Ray Bonnarens, two brothers Walter & James Bonnarens and a sister Rose Mary Meyer.

Robert was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. New Haven, and of the Local 996 BMWE. He worked for Deb Shoe Factory in Washington for 17 years.  He then later worked for the railroad for 25 years and later for River Bluff Farms as a care taker for many years.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri. 

Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th, with Rev. David Poe officiating. 

Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter's U.C.C. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
