Michael Martin Trachsel, 62, of New Haven, MO, passed from the physical world on October 10th, 2016. He was born in Chamois, MO on May 1st, 1954 to the late Martin and Erelene Trachsel.

 Michael was a kind and gentle son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. He loved everyone around him unconditionally. Michael was a farmer at heart and will always be remembered for his ability to connect with anyone he met.

 He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peggy) Trachsel; a daughter, Barbara Trachsel Gilliam, and her husband, Doug, of Columbia, MO; a granddaughter, Rosalind Gilliam; a brother, Allan Trachsel, and a sister, DeAnn Branson, both of Berger, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beverly Sue Fredrick.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where a celebration of life will follow at 2:30 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
