Marvin H. Marsch, 82, of Hermann, MO, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Marvin was born in Stony Hill, Missouri on March 9, 1934, a son of the late Harry & Viola (Mochel) Marsch.

Marvin was a member of St. James Church, Stony Hill, Missouri, the Moose Lodge in Union, Missouri, the Humming Bird Club of Washington, Missouri and was a member and past president of the Stony Hill Fire Department.

He worked at Kellwood for 31 1/2 years as a maintenance supervisor and also farmed.   In his free time he enjoyed fishing,  trapping, and doing other things outdoors like driving his gator, feeding  his fish and spraying for weeds.  He was well known for his homemade wine and sharing it with his friends.

Marvin is  survived by a daughter, Kathy Holtgrieve & husband Kenneth, of Conroe, Texas; by three sons Rick Small  & wife Connie, of Washington, Missouri; Tim Marsch & fiance' Missie Lake, of Hermann, Missouri; and Kevin Marsch & wife Cathy, of Hermann, Missouri, and by 14 grandchildren  and several great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Evelyn Grober.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. 

Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. James Church or Stony Hill Fire Dept.
