Leslie Eugene Bean, 64, of New Haven, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Mercy Hospital,    Washington, Missouri. 

Leslie was born in Novinger, Missouri on January 6, 1951, the son of the late Leslie Earl & Illeen (Collins) Bean.

He was the husband of the late Mary Catherine "Mitzi" (Hoerstkamp) Bean.  They were united in marriage on April 15, 1972 at Assumption Church, New Haven.

Leslie is survived by a daughter Pauli Anschutz & husband Jeffrey of Beaufort, Missouri, a son Eric Bean & wife Karen of Berger, a daughter Holli Rolfes & husband Michael of St. Louis, a brother Gary Brown of New Haven, a sister Peggy Novinger & husband Keith of Columbia, Missouri, and by seven grandchildren, Evan, Corey & Aly Bean, Matthew Rector, Eve Anschutz and Elyse & Elaina Rolfes.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Leslie worked as a maintenance supervisor at Canam Steel  in Washington.  Prior to that he also worked in the construction of the Callaway Nuclear Plant and  worked for Walkenhorst Electric Company.  He was a member of the Assumption Church, New Haven and of the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 9th from  4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken officiating. 

Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Mid America Transplant Services in Memory of Mary Bean.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
