Lee Ann Ruettgers, 85, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Lee Ann was born in Hermann, Missouri on September 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Alphons & Edith (Buecker) Aprill.

Lee Ann was the wife of Edmund "Whitey" Ruettgers. They were married on May 19, 1951, at Hermann, Missouri.  Edmund survives at the home.

Lee Ann is also survived by a son, Duane Ruettgers & wife Marsha, of Owensville, Missouri, and by three grandchildren, Nicholas Ruettgers & wife Mary, of Smithton, Illinois, Jenna Ruettgers & fiance' Harrison Smith, of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Donovan Ruettgers & special friend Brittany Buehrlen, of Nelson, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter Donna Ruettgers.

Lee Ann was a member of St. George Church Hermann, Missouri, and the Red Hat Ladies.  She worked as a teller at First Bank in Hermann for almost 20 years. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri. 

A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley officiating. 

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to St. George School or Hermann Fire Department.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
