Lawrence Emil Pelster , 78, of New Haven, passed away on Sunday August 2, 2015 at St. John's Mercy in Creve Couer

Mr. Pelster was born in New Haven on the family farm on August 25, 1936, the son of the late Milton and  Adella (Deppermann) Pelster.

Lawrence was born, grew up , and lived on the family farm all his life. The farm meant the world to Lawrence as did his church. He was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church Port Husdson and could be seen there every sunday as an usher. Most of all Lawrence was just a very likeable guy .

He is survived by one sister Janet and husband Larry Horstmann of Hermann,  nephews Jimmy and wife Kathrina Pelster of New Haven,  Ben Horstmann and finance Heather Sulser of Hermann, a neice Kelly Bruns and husband Brian of Jackson, four great nephews Jacob Pelster of New Haven , Alex ,Collin, & Spencer Bruns of Jackson, and a great neice Keira Pelster of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his parents and  by one brother Richard Pelster.

Visitation will be held Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Haven

Funeral services will be held at Ebenezer Lutheran Church Port Hudson, Mo. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday August 8, with Rev. William Zastrow officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
