Lawrence "Larry" Madden, 75, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Mr. Madden was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 9, 1939, the son of the late Lawrence Edward and Margaret Mary (Moore ) Madden.
He was the husband of Sandra Jean (Baker) Madden. They were married on November 4, 1961 in Mehlville, Missouri. Sandra survives in New Haven.
Lawrence is also survived by a son Steven Madden & wife Danielle of New Haven, by four grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Samuel and Timothy Madden, a sister Kathleen Madden of Sullivan, a brother Patrick Madden of St. Louis County, a sister Maureen Von Borries & husband Lawrence of Tinley Park, Illinois, he is also survived by many nephews and one niece. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Jane Willimann.
Lawrence was a member of Central Washington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Union, Missouri. He enjoyed working on and building computers. When he was younger he enoyed being outdoors, he also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
He previously worked as a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer and at Monsanto and National Lead before becoming a boilermaker quality inspector for Nooter Corp. of St. Louis.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, with Kent Benack officiating.
Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery.
