Kathryn  Marie (Hasty) Batton, 33, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home.

Kathryn was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 4, 1981, the daughter of Clinton Carl Hasty and Karen (Scheer) Brinkley.

She was the wife of Randy Batton.  They were married March 22, 2013 at Sugarcreek, Ohio.  Randy survives at the home.

Kathryn is also survived by her father Clinton Carl Hasty & wife Sue of Hermann, Missouri, her mother Karen Brinkley of Hermann, her grandparents Donna & Eugene Klingsick of Hermann, her grandmother Dorothy Scheer of Hermann, her great grandmother Verllie Feltes of Leslie, three brothers Stephen Hasty & wife Chelton of Hermann, Michael Hasty of Hermann and Timothy Hasty of Richmond, Kentucky, a sister Taylor Ford & husband Joshua of Rolla and by many aunts and uncles.  Kathy was raised by her grandparetns Eugene & Donna Klingsick, she considered them her second parents.  She also considered her aunts Ganell & Deanna as her sisters.  She is preceded in death by her step-father Dean Brinkley and her grandfathers Orville Scheer and Leland Hasty.

Kathryn was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rolla, Missouri. She worked as a home health aide at a nursing home, where she took pride in taking care of her ederly patients. She enjoyed going to stock car races, and tractor pulls.  She loved Amish Country, penguins and to make people laugh.

Visitation will be Monday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. David Rawlings officiating. 

Burial will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri.
