Judith K. Baumstark, 76, of Hermann, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.
Judy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Earl & Addean (Shores) Rybolt.
She was the wife of Joseph B. Baumstark. They were united in marriage on October 12, 1963, in St. Louis County. Joe survives at the home.
Judy is also survived by their three children, daughter, Lisa Schulte, of Hermann, son, Chris Baumstark, of Hermann, and daughter, Lori Baumstark, of St. Louis; by three grandsons, Travis Schulte & wife Jennifer, of Hermann, Brett Schulte & wife Katelyn, of Hermann; and Ian Baumstark, of Owensville; a granddaughter, Hattie Baumstark, of Owensville; a great grandson, Nolan Schulte, of Hermann; by two brothers-in-law, Jerry Means, of Chamois; and Paul Struttmann, of St. Louis; and by three sisters-in-law, Eleanor Lloyd, of Holden, Missouri; Charmaine Klott, of Hermann; and Pat Rybolt, of Hallsville, Missouri and by many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, by a son-in-law, David Schulte and her brother Gary Rybolt.
Judy was a member of St. George Church, Hermann, where she was a member of the ladies sodality. She was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Judy baby sat for many years for a lot of local families. She also was the school librarian at St. George School and she worked for Cathy Baumstark at the vet clinic.
Judy was always a very sweet and caring person to anyone she met and talked to. She always had a smile on her face, which always led others to smile as well. She enjoyed visiting and eating at the Down Town Deli where she formed many great friendships.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father David Means officiating.
