Lisa,
So sorry to read about your dad's passing. My husband and I visited him about 4 years ago. We had lunch with him and toured the city of Hermann-reliving memories and learning about family history. When he was 89, he drove to Pekin to have an early Thanksgiving with us. It was always great to visit with him. He was a kind, wonderful man. You have our deepest sympathy! Don & Debbie

I met Howard first as a client of mine. Then found out that he was friends with many of my parent's friends in St. Louis and he actually knew my parents. I feel our "client" relationship turned into friendship. I always enjoyed our conversations. He was a kind and caring man. I treasure the time I had knowing him.

Bob and I are deeply sadden by the passing of Howard. Bob was his buddy up at the Senior Center and I always enjoyed chatting with him as he was a very intelligent man and a great deal about a variety of topics.

I knew Howard and Millie from St. John's Lutheran Church in Ballwin. Our family moved around some after that but we corresponded with Howard at Christmas for many years. He always wrote a nice detailed update on his life and family. I received my Christmas card back a few years ago and hadn't heard from him since. Today I was going through my address book for something and saw his name and Googled it just to see if I could find him. I guess God wanted me to know. He was a sweet man and will be missed. God's peace to his family and friends.
