Gerald "Jerry" T. Wright, 70, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann, Missouri.

Jerry was born in Mexico, Missouri on September 8, 1947, a son of the late Melvin "Tooter" & Lorene (Daller) Wright.

He was the husband of Katheryn "Kathy" (Haeffner) Wright.   They were united in marriage  on September 2, 1967, in Gasconade, Missouri.  Kathy survives at the home.

Jerry is also survived by their three sons, Donnie Wright, of Hermann, Tim Wright, of Fulton, and Jon "Butch" Wright, of Jefferson City, by three granddaughters, Jessie Wright, of Jefferson City, and Blaire & Ashley Wright, of Beaufort, by two great grandchildren, Aycen & Nolan Bareda, of Jefferson City, by four brothers, LeRoy Wright, of Montgomery City, Missouri; Dennis Wright & wife Carol, of Owensville, Missouri; Robert "Bob Wright & wife Donnia, of Hermann, Missouri; and David Wright & wife Tammy, of Eldon, Missouri; a sister Linda James, of Hermann, and by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald Wright, a grandson Tre Alan Wright, a niece Debbie Wright and three nephews Timothy, Rodney & Darren Wright.

Jerry was a member of Gasconade Union Church, Gasconade, Missouri.  He worked as a welder for 35 years at Binkley Mfg. of Warrenton, MO. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Ron Copeland officiating.
