Floyd Raymond Cooley, Jr., 63, of New Haven, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at his home.
Floyd was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 12, 1957, a son of the late Floyd & Susie (Dover) Cooley.
He was the husband of Donna (Witte) Cooley. They were united in marriage on July 8, 1989 at Canaan, Missouri.
Floyd worked for the City of New Haven in the Public Works Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors, listening to music, and making people laugh.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Donna Cooley, of the home; a son, Eric Lough & wife Jessica, of Canaan, Missouri; by three daughters, Erin Mades & husband Jeff, of Owensville, Missouri; Katie Kotila & husband Paul, of Gerald, Missouri; and Alison Walker & husband Aaron, of Gerald, Missouri; by his sisters, Marie, Elliff & husband Richard, of Gerald, Missouri; Marilynn Sneddy & husband James, of Gerald, Missouri; Cindy Cooley, of Granite City, Illinois; Alane Percy, of Granite City, Illinois; Karen Kohler & husband Steve, of Granite City, Illinois; Nancy Jordan, of Granite City, Illinois; and Fonda Eden & husband John, of Granite City, Illinois; and grandchildren, Destinee, Mya, Heaven, Alexis, Austin, Emma, Grayson, and Cora, and one great grandson Sawyer.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Aaron Kotila officiating.
Burial will be at Howard Cemetery, Canaan, Missouri. Memorials may be given to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
