Fern G. Uthe, 97, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Fern was born in Eldon, Missouri on July 20, 1919, a daughter of the late Alvin Moeller & Leana (Engelbrecht) Strunk.

On November 24, 1938 she was united in marriage to Edwin Eikermann.  To this union one child was born, Dalton.  Edwin preceded her in death on November 4, 1988.  She later was married to Roy Uthe on May 31, 1990.  Roy also preceded her in death on March 26, 1996.

Fern was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Stolpe, Missouri, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.  In her free time she enjoyed making quilts and sold them all over even as far as California.

Fern is survived by a son, Dalton Eikermann & wife Joyce, of Hermann, Missouri; by a brother, LeRoy Moeller, of Chesterfield, Missouri, by a granddaughter Angie Scheidegger  & husband Mark, of Hermann, two grandsons, Blaine Eikermann &  wife Shawn Gray, of Hermann, and Chad Eikermann, of Kansas City, by a step-grandchild, Donna Nixon, of Hermann, by three great grandchildren, Taylor & Hunter Scheidegger and Dakota Eikermann, all of Hermann, by three step-great grandchildren,  three step-great-great grandchildren and by nieces and nephews.
 
Visitation will be held Friday 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.
 
Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery,  Stolpe, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. John's U.C.C. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
