Evelyn Wilhelmina Branson, 100, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Evelyn was born in Washington, Missouri on March 31, 1917, a daughter of the late Frederick T. & Elizabeth C. (Haberberger) Maune.

She was the widow of Walter G. Branson.  They were married on September 21, 1935, in Villa Ridge, Missouri. 

Evelyn was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven.  Her first job after school as at St. Francis Hospital, Washington.  She then went to work for Deb Shoe Factory, and later at Hawthorn in New Haven.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Rita Borcherding & husband Clyde, of New Haven, Missouri; Mary Jane Theissen & husband Robert, of Washington, Missouri; Linda Luecke, of New Haven, Missouri; Wanda Pottebaum & husband Jacob, of Washington, Missouri; Gerald "Fuzzy" Branson & wife Kathryn, of Marthasville, Missouri; Donna Thompson & husband Rholand, of New Haven, Missouri; Dennis Branson & wife Virginia, of Washington, Missouri; Velma Faye Thomure & husband Roger, of Rosebud, Missouri; Ron Branson & wife Karen, of New Haven, Missouri; and Don Branson & wife Rosie, of Berger, Missouri; by a brother, Kenny Maune & wife Laverne, of Washington, Missouri; by 33 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by three daughters, Fern Juedemann, Rose Dunakey, & Betty Lee Branson, by a son Walter Branson, Jr., by three brothers Norbert, John & Henry Maune, by three sisters Jinny Westhoff, Margaret Anderson, and Mildred Westhoff, by three grandchildren  Jeremy Branson, Gary Dean & David Lee Borcherding and two great grandchildren Sarah & Dawn Branson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1st from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven,  with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery,  New Haven.  Memorials may be given to Assumption Church or New Haven Care Center.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
