Eva Jane Witthaus, 76, of Hermann, MO, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Eva was born in Hermann, Missouri on July 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Frank A. Jr. & Mary A. (Wilson) Bauer.

She was the widow of Arvill George Witthaus. They were married on October 10, 1959, at St. Paul U.C.C., Hermann.   He preceded her in death on October 4, 2007.

Eva was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann.  She worked as a respiratory therapist at Hermann Area District Hospital for over 40 years.   In her free time Eva enjoyed crocheting, doing embroidery work and collecting angels.

Eva is survived by her four children, Michael Witthaus & wife Denise, of Hermann; Marcia Giesler  & husband Matt, of Arnold, Missouri; Mark Witthaus & wife Kendra, of McGirk, Missouri; and Margaret Hahne & husband Dave, of Gerald, Missouri; by a sister-in-law Marilyn Deeken, of Jefferson City, Missouri; by a nephew Lawrence Elflein, Jr., of Hermann, by seven grandchildren, Katherine O'Neal, Julia Jackson, Jon & Ben Giesler, Josh Witthaus, Ben Busch & Alex Hahne and by six great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Friday, November 3rd from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Rodger Kiepe officiating. 

Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann.  Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
