Ethel A. Lock, 95, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Frene Valley of Owensville.
Ethel was born in Truxton, Missouri on November 11, 1924, a daughter of the late John & Margaret (Wilson) Adkins.
She was the widow of John E. Lock. They were united in marriage on August 15, 1958, in Union, Missouri. John preceded her in death on November 23, 1992.
Ethel worked as a stitcher for Florsheim Shoe Factory for many years. After retirement she spent her spare time working as a wreath maker at Pea Ridge Christmas Tree Farm. Her hobbies included, gardening, canning, raising livestock and spending time with her great grandkids.
Ethel is survived by two sons, Eddie Lock, of Case, Missouri; and John Lock, of Osage Beach, Missouri; by two daughters, Debbie Lock, of Bellflower, Missouri; and Norma Masseciak, of Troy, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Kathy and husband Tom, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; Kristina and husband Miguel, of Warrenton, Missouri; Glenn Jr., of St. Cloud, Minnesota; Angie, and Melissa, and by eight great grandchildren, Jonathan, Dakota, Miguel Jr., Juan, Gabriela, Ava, Draven, and Ava.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by a son, Gary Banker, by her sisters, Anita Adkins, Mary Bell Person, Violet Burkhardt, Marie Lynch, Margie Littrell, and Opal Royer, and her brothers, John, Tom, Jerry, and Leroy Adkins.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Central Grove Cemetery, Truxton, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
