Ervin Hans, 90, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Ervin was born in Hermann, Missouri on November 30, 1925, a son of the late August & Amanda (Wehking) Hans.

Ervin was united in marriage to Flora (Mueller) Hans on February 14, 1950 at St. Louis, Missouri.  Flora preceded him in death on March 29, 2003.

Ervin proudly served in the U.S. Navy.  He worked in the St. Louis area as an iron worker for 40 years.

Ervin was a member of the Local 396 Iron Workers, the American Legion, in Bay, Missouri, the Hermann 
V.F.W. Post 4182 and the Hermann Eagles.

Ervin is survived by two children, Noreen Ziebold & husband George, of Waterloo, Illinois, and Jerri Passe, of St. Louis, Missouri, by a sister Frieda West, of Bourbon, Missouri, nieces, nephews, a dear friend Delvine Zimmermann, two grandchildren, James A. & Jeffery M. Burris & great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, James Burris, a sister Elfrieda Busch and three brothers, Charlie, William & Al Hans.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m., followed by full military honors.
