Dale A.  Bolte, 65, of Beaufort, MO, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home. 

Dale was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 16, 1951, a son of Raymond Louis & Marie Emma (Kamschmidt) Bolte.

He was the husband of Sandra Kay (Gordon) Bolte, the love of his life, with whom he shared more than 35 years.

Dale was the proud father to Ben Ziglin his wife Penny and daughter Stephanie Staples and husband Bart; grandfather to his beloved 6 grandchildren: Gracie, Gabbi and Garrett Ziglin and Daisy, Benjamin and Tyler Staples. 

Dale is also survived by his mother Marie Bolte, sister Trudy Hamilton, brother Don Bolte and wife Cyndy, sister Renee Brubach and husband Dave, relatives and many friends. 

Dale worked in auto body for 20 years and then did construction with Dave Dobsch and his brother Don.

Dale and Sandy own The Water Works Antiques in Washington, and this kept him busy working in the garage restoring antiques. The garage became a very special place for Papa Dale, where he enjoyed countless hours building fun projects and furniture with the grandchildren.

Fishing was a passion of Dale's and he passed this love onto his children and grandchildren.  There were countless memories and photographs of smiling faces with big and little fish caught in the "magical pond!"

Visitation and Memorial service will be held on February 18 from 1:00 - 5:00 at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home New Haven, MO. Visitation from 1-4 with a memorial service to follow.
