Carol  D.  Warren, 76, of Hermann, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

Mrs. Warren was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 22, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Pottebaum) Korte.

She was the widow of Everett E. Warren.  They were united in marriage on June 28, 1958 at Wellsville, Missouri.  Everett preceded her in death on December 31, 2003.

Carol was a member of St. George Church in Hermann.  She loved to do scrap booking, quilting and gardening and she was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. She worked as a nurses assistant for Hermann Hospital in the physical therapy department until 2004.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Michael Warren & wife Maryann of Columbus, Ohio and David Warren & wife Debbie of Hermann, by a sister Jane Hubbard & husband Barry of Montgomery City, by five grandchildren, Stephen Warren and Daniel Warren & wife Elizabeth, all of Columbus, Ohio, Matthew Lammers of Normal, Illinois, and Joshua & Nicholas Warren both of Hermann, by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister Barbara Peery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Martin's Cemetery, Starkenburg.  Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital or St. George School.  C/O Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
