Adele M. Walkenhorst, 85, of Hermann, Missouri, passed  away on Friday, April 24th, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Mrs. Walkenhorst was born in Owensville, Missouri on January  21, 1929, the daughter of the late Elmer and Ada (Aytes) Benton.

She was the widow of Alvin H. Walkenhorst. They were married June 16, 1951 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven, Missouri.

Adele worked some but most enjoyed being a home maker. She also enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball and spending time with grandchildren and freinds. She also was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of New Haven.

She is survived by her daughter Karen & husband Jerry Immell of Hermann. Granddaughters Jennifer Starke and Kristen Dockler & husband Doug of Hermann. Great grandchildren Lauren, Quentin, Emma & Caroline Starke and Parker Marie Dockler all of Hermann

Visitation will be Monday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven Missouri. 

Funeral Services will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven, Missouri. 

Burial will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery New Haven, Missouri.
